Artec Micro fails to connect to the PC

Issue:

The Artec Micro fails to connect properly and shows an "FT232R USB UART" device with a yellow exclamation mark in the Windows device manager.

Cause: driver issue

Solution:

With the Artec Micro powered on and connected to your PC, please install a Windows driver update called "FTDI" which can be found in the "view optional updates" section.
