Issue
When launching Artec Studio, you may encounter the following error message: 'Failed to create open GL context. You may probably have problem with your video drivers or unsupported video card.':
Solution
The cause of this issue is usually unsupported video card or its driver version. Please refer to the following articles for more information about choosing a video card and the recommended drivers:
- Choosing a suitable graphics card for 3D scanning and post-processing
- NVIDIA drivers, tested and approved by Artec3D
- AMD Radeon/FirePro drivers, tested and approved by Artec3D
Important:
Similar behavior may be caused by a driver conflict with Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) drivers. Please make sure to you are not utilizing Artec Studio via RDP.
