Artec Studio setup for a second display

This short article will help you to check your setup with an Artec Studio, running on a second display, which is often used during presentations, exhibitions, processing workflows, etc.

Also, the correct setup of a second monitor is especially crucial for the Eraser performance.

 

Step1: "Multiple displays" option in Windows

Let us say, you have a laptop with 2nd display connected to it. In this case, use the following setup:

  1. Switch "Multiple displays" option in Windows to "Extend these displays"
  2. Set your second (i.e. external) display as a primary one.

Note: If you're using a laptop with both NVIDIA and Intel cards, make sure, that a proper card is chosen (link to the instruction).

 

Step 2: Resolution and scaling parameters

After its very first start, Artec Studio matches its interface to a screen resolution. So if you're aiming to display Artec Studio interface on a second monitor, don't forget to re-size the interface accordingly.

The tips, described in this article, are frequently used for a tablets screen optimization and are totally applicable for second monitor setup.
