Mirroring feature

Artec Studio provides several hidden (yet useful!) features that we’d love to share with the world :) This short article will show you how to mirror your 3D mesh in Artec Studio with just a couple clicks.

Example: The model on the left is the original; the model on the right is a mirrored copy.



The sequence is as follows:

1) Select your 3D model in the "Workspace" section



2) Navigate to Editor - Scale and enter the value –1 (minus one). Then hit Enter to save the changes and close the Editor panel.



3) Click Fit to view or Home in the upper panel, then rotate the 3D model on your screen any way you like using LMB. The mesh is now mirrored:
