Artec Leo: System Requirements

This article will assist you in selecting the optimal hardware for post-processing needs for Artec Leo scans.


OS
  • Windows 8.1, 10 (x64), Windows 11
  • MacOS is not supported

Graphics/video

cards

For HD reconstruction (NVIDA GPU ONLY

Minimal: NVidia GPU Pascal architecture or newer(CUDA Compute Capability >= 6.1), GPU memory >= 4GB

Recommended: NVidia GPU Turing architecture or newer(CUDA Compute Capability >= 7.5), GPU memory >= 4GB

 

CPU
  • min. Intel Core i5 (76xx and later)
  • Intel Core i7 (7xxx and later)
  • Intel Core i9 (7xxx and later)
  • AMD Ryzen, Threadripper, and Intel Xeon CPUs
RAM
  • min. 32 GB
  • Recommended 64+ GB
Ports

Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection to the laptop

Not supported:

  • OS: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Mac OS, any 32-bit OS
  • Virtual Environments (Windows OS installed inside a Virtual Machine)
  • CPUs: Intel Core i7 8550U, Intel Core i5 8350U, Intel Core i7-1065G7 with integrated GPU

(!) If the graphics card does not meet the minimum requirements (or an outdated graphics driver is installed), the HD reconstruction algorithm will fail.

 

(!) HD reconstruction for Artec Leo scans does not work on the following GPUs:

NVIDIA Quadro T1000/ T2000

NVIDIA Quadro P1000
