1 June 2016 - Artec Studio 11 is released

The newest version of Artec's professional 3D scanning and data processing software is now officially out. This release is boosted with the Autopilot mode, an interactive guide that chooses the most efficient algorithms to process your data by asking you a few simple questions about the size, geometry and other characteristics of the object you just scanned. Once you've submitted your answers, Autopilot will automatically build a 3D model from the data at hand, and you can just sit back and relax. Alternatively, you can choose to work with the data manually and control every stage of the process.

The functionality of Artec Studio has been enhanced significantly to speed up workflow without compromising on precision or accuracy. Now 95% of data sets can be aligned automatically, as opposed to 65% in AS10. You don't have to manually erase the base your object was scanned on anymore - everything is done automatically in a matter of seconds. The quality of rendering has reached a new high to bring out the smallest detail in the object's geometry with natural gloss. We've also greatly simplified export to world standard programs for reverse engineering. Now your 3D model can be landed in 3D Systems' Geomagic Design X and SOLIDWORKS at the click of a button!

These are just several of the many features in Artec Studio 11 that add up to the smoothest 3D scanning experience ever. You can try it out for yourself by downloading the latest version of the software. Artec Studio 11 comes in two editions: Professional, which works exclusively with Artec scanners, and Ultimate, compatible with both Artec scanners and a range of third-party sensors.
