NVIDIA drivers, tested and approved by Artec3D

This article aims at helping you choose and install the correct NVIDIA graphics driver that is compatible with your version of Artec Studio.
Installing the recommended (Artec certified) NVIDIA driver is always beneficial, but on some machines, it becomes absolutely essential in case you want to scan in real-time fusion (RTF) mode.

For driver download and installation, please proceed as follows:

  1. Ensure that your graphics card is compatible with Artec Studio.
  2. Take note of the recommended (Artec certified) NVIDIA driver version in the table located further below in the article. Please be sure to take into consideration your graphics card series as well as the Artec Studio version.
  3. Navigate to the NVIDIA driver downloads website (if you are using a desktop or custom-built computer), or to the driver download website of your notebook/tablet manufacturer (e.g. HP, Dell/Alienware, Lenovo, etc).
  4. Select your graphics card model and/or notebook model and locate the desired driver from the downloads list.
  5. Download and install the driver.

Important note: Many major notebook- and/or tablet computer manufacturers will require a very specific graphics driver version for some of their notebook models. The driver version available on the manufacturer's website may not always coincide with the version from the Artec-recommended list. In this case, we recommend installing the driver provided by the notebook manufacturer.
If this does not prove successful, downloading the Artec-recommended driver from the NVIDIA driver downloads website can also be attempted.
