Artec Leo 1.8: Release notes

Artec Leo 1.8.4.63 (30.07.2024) released for TX1 and TX2 scanners.

Fixes:

- Memory crash on some scanners

 

 

Artec Leo 1.8.4.59 (22.07.2024) released for TX1 and TX2 scanners.

 

New Features:

- Button color indication. The ring around the button now changes the color according to the popup message type.

- Ability to send reports with failed recalibration projects right from the Recalibration failed notification.

 

Improvements:


- Offline DNN disabled.
- DNN reconstruction on the scanning screen can now be disabled in the settings menu. It's disabled by default.

- Fit-to-view will not move away too far if the scene is too big.
- If the recalibration board fails to download due to the network issues - it will resume download if the connection restored.

- Screenshots alignment fix

Artec Leo 1.8.0.34 (09.10.2023) released for TX1 and TX2 scanners.

New Features:

 

- Calculating HD preview reconstruction directly on Leo to provide the closest approximation of the final HD reconstruction in Artec Studio

- Saving the remaining heating time even after Leo's reboot

- Artec Studio version selecting on the first launch for better compatibility

Improvements:

 

- Moved HD reconstruction UI from Settings to Scanning screen

- Moved Texture flash switch and Brightness setting from Settings to Scanning screen

- Recalibration improvement for higher precision

- Fixed issues with sparse Target Cloud

- Some minor UI fixes
