Starting with version 11, Artec Studio features a special interface optimization for high-resolution displays. This addition is primarily intended to support correct rotation of a 3D model and to match the interface to the screen resolution of your device.
This article explains how the optimization works and where Artec Studio stores the settings.
Initial screen optimization and settings file
After you install Artec Studio on a tablet, the program appropriately matches the interface to the screen resolution when you first start it. It also updates the settings file studio.conf, which resides in the following location:
- Artec Studio 11: C:\Users\windows_user_name\AppData\Roaming\Artec\Artec Studio 11 Professional\11.2.2.16
- Artec Studio 12: C:\Users\windows_user_name\AppData\Roaming\Artec\Artec Studio 12 Professional\12.X.X.XXX
The program then uses the settings for this optimization in all subsequent launches.
Re-optimizing screen resolution
If your screen-resolution or zoom-display settings change, we recommend reoptimizing the Artec Studio interface. To do so, use the following procedure:
- Select no more than a 200% zoom for text and apps in the Windows display settings
- Delete studio.conf.
- Restart Artec Studio; it will then rematch the screen resolution
